I didn't know people can be so despicable. I became a part of a drama overnight and now people are attacking my userpage with flames...

Eh. The fact is that I came upon a gallery which was full of wallpapers containing copyrighted pictures. Copyrighted means taken directly from a manga/movie/comic. It is forbidden on deviantART to poste these and everyone should know about it since we accepted the rules when we were joining the site ("I agree to the rules and conditions", remember?).

So I reported one of these deviations as a violation and suggestion for the administrators that they should take a look (though unfortunately and honestly, since there were so many copyrighted pictures, I don't remember which one I reported - if it was ninja turtles, hikaru no go or naruto.. but it was copyrighted, and did not belong to any of dA artists). I also left a comment on this deviant's page telling him which point of FAQ he broke. He told me that he had permission to half of the images he posted (they were belonging to other dA popular artists) - and ok, the deviation I reported was from this another half which clearly was submitted against the rules. Meanwhile, all of these wallpapers were deleted. Conclusion? Administrators decided that this gallery was indeed against the policy of their site and it is best to delete them. These are admins who made that decision, not me. The most frustrating thing is that I'm possibly not the only one who reported that one poor deviation, but since it made to the frontpage (yes, the copyrighted image has made it to the frontpage), there were surely OTHER deviants who reported his pictures as well.

At first this deviant accused me of deleting his gallery and reported me as a "violation of my admin privileges". When he learned that I'm not an admin and I only reported one of his deviations, he started to blame me for everything administrators did with his page.

And what I get in the end? Flames on my profile and accusations of deleting this deviant's gallery! Can't some people just understand that my report was about one deviation that simply broke the rules and that there are THOUSANDS of such reports everyday that go to dA staff? It is not me who jugde whether the report is right or not.

And to be clear, to those who still don't get it: I DID NOT REPORT DEVIATIONS TO WHICH THIS DEVIANT HAD PERMISSION!

If you have problems with that, talk to the Administrators, not me, who can do nothing about it. I don't know what you want to gain by flaming my profile.
