This is the concept of a princess from my new personal project (has anyone counted how many personal projectsI've already had and abandoned? well it won't happent THIS time!). I hope that you'll like her!
You can quickly grasp the personality of this princess the second you look at the concept. You know she's not going to be frolicking in the gardens all day. The Illustration does a great job of telling you about the character without needing any description on the side.
The Technique itself while it may be in development looks great. The Contrasting Highlights and the color scheme as a whole work really well together.
The only problem I have with this piece, and it isn't so much a problem as a personal nitpicking, is that it feels a little stiff. It's not necessarily the pose alone, perhaps a mix between this style's proportions mixed with the pose.
Overall this is a great piece, I'm glad I'm subscribed to your deviations and can't wait to see more!
I agree with *blo0p - I absolutely love your work and can definitely see the character and personality shine through instantly. I love the style and find it very fun and joyful.
Yes perhaps the pose is a bit stiff maybe brought on by the body where the torso seems to be straining as the pelvis pulls in a different direction - but indeed that is if someone nit-picks
- LOVELY work and I'm certainly excited to see more from this new style of yours and see to how it develops (very happy to be watching your work)
Thank you very much for you comment! Yeah, the stiffnes of the body is definitely something I should work on. I'm very glad to hear that you like this style! ^^
